Two researchers. One shared frustration.

Cellcraft began in the University of Cambridge Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, where Yash and Clarisse met as researchers.

Yash was growing neural tissue. Clarisse was developing computational methods for bioprocess development. Both kept running into the same problem: biology could do extraordinary things, but the tools for controlling and scaling it were holding the field back.

They founded Cellcraft to close that gap, bringing biology, engineering and physical AI together so bioprocesses can become predictable, scalable and easier to manufacture.
